About the Author
Josephine Nakibuule Jackson
I was born and raised in Uganda, Africa. I am a teacher with a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda, and am currently pursuing a degree in social work at the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
My Dearest Baby is my debut book, and my babies are the inspiration for it. While pregnant with them, I searched for a baby book that I could read to them, but could not find one that expressed what I was looking for on the shelves in our local library. I therefore decided to create one that all expecting parents/ families can read to their unborn babies, and foster bonding. My Dearest Baby provides an opportunity for expecting mothers to share their pregnancy journey, emotions, and affirmations to their children and nurture a love of reading for the little ones.
